Molesey 1 v 2 Eversley California

Following the victory at Chalfont St Peter on Saturday expectations were high as Molesey played hosts to a strong Eversley California side!
From the off it looked like it was going to be a tough day as Eversley California had their first good goal scoring opportunity inside the first 60 seconds.
Eversley California stunned Molesey as they took a well earned two goal advantage in at Half time. The first goal saw them move the ball down the right and cut in for Turner, the Eversley Centre Forward, to be on hand and neatly turn the ball past Wheller in the Molesey goal.
Eversley kept pressing and causing Molesey some problems and on the half hour a ball up field was saw Turner collect the ball, he turned a Molesey defender and promptly got a shot away that was hit a cross Wheller and into the opposite corner of the net.
So for the first time this season peter and his backroom staff had their work to do during the half time break to get the Molesey team playing with the pace and quick passing that they are known for.
This seemed to have the desired effect as the second half had more Molesey possession and a few chances one of which Molesey scored from. In the 75th minute following a spell of some assertive , and attacking play, the ball found its ways into the Eversley area and it fell nicely for Tyler Hargreaves to score and get Molesey back into the game.
Unfortunately, despite doing there best to level matters time ran out and the Ref blew the whistle on a Molesey fight back to inflict their first defeat of the Season.
