Molesey 2 v 1 Colliers Wood Utd
Having played Colliers Wood three times already this season and having Lost one, Drawn one and Winning on, this was always going to be a tight and cagey affair.
The first half showed great endeavor but very little action in front of goal. The best chance of the first half was a Penalty that was awarded to Molesey that was sadly missed by Bouchez when he hit the crossbar.

No goals at half time and the crowd could do with being warmed up in the second half as there was nothing to shout about in a very lack-luster performance on a cold day for everyone!
Three goals in the second half and a good comeback by Molesey certainly gave the Molesey crowd a good warm feeling as they made there way home at the end of the match!
Colliers Wood took the lead in the 70th minute when a flowing move opened Molesey up and a good finish by Iqbal put the away side in the lead.
Molesey, to their credit are always difficult to be beaten, especially at Home and it was good to see them fighting and scrapping for every ball. In the end a great double by Bouchez secures a great comeback win for Molesey.
This was a well-earned win in the end as it was secured with a good goal in the dying minutes! This was a good 3 points earned and every player showed a never die attitude and certainly put a good shift into the game!
This was a great start to 2025 for Molesey with this hard earned victory!
No need to wait a week to see the Moles play again as they are at Home again tomorrow night when they take on Staines Lammas in the League!
